Two-day workshop · Non-accredited
AI and Automation
for Business
Discover how artificial intelligence can improve everyday work. This practical two-day workshop introduces AI tools, business applications and opportunities to automate repetitive tasks. Participants develop ideas they can apply within their own organisations.
Try a practical example
From rough notes to a useful draft
Explore how an AI assistant can turn notes into an email, why wording can vary and how to check the result.
This optional demonstration uses prepared examples, not live AI. Allow 5–8 minutes. No sign-in or personal information is needed.

Who it is for
Business owners, managers and staff who work with information, documents, communication or recurring administrative tasks.
The workshop is designed for people without programming experience. Participants need basic computer skills; we confirm device and account requirements before booking.
What we cover
- Giving clear instructions and using source material with an AI assistant.
- Drafting and checking business documents and customer responses.
- Working with tables and reports, including checking figures and conclusions.
- Identifying repeated tasks and understanding triggers, actions and human approval in an automated process.
- Protecting confidential information and recognising unreliable or inappropriate output.
- Outlining one possible application, including the checks and resources it would need.
We agree the most relevant examples before delivery. Exercises use fictional, public or appropriately cleared information; participants should not bring confidential client records or personal information for use in public AI tools.
What participants take away
Practice in using and checking AI outputs, together with an outline of a possible workplace application and the questions to resolve before introducing it.
